As the mission statement for the 20D20 movement states:

Change is happening and it is happening right now. There are inspirational stories of neighbor helping neighbor, of the city improving from the ground up. This is our home. Detroit and the surrounding areas of Sterling Heights, Shelby Township, Macomb and others are ready for our work. This page is dedicated to the people of Detroit.
